All beads are hand made
without a mold so each may be slightly different from the other. If
you want them to be close in size or color I need to do them at the
same time. Each batch of glass that I receive may vary slightly in
color and I may not ever get that exact shade again. They are then
annealed making the strong enough for daily use.
Each bead you order has
a place for special instructions and there you can design your own.
You can change the color, size or even the direction of the hole in
some cases and any information helps. If you want to use them on
beadable products they have to have a larger hole and if you plan to
use them on a keychain that will get a lot of heavy use I can make
them extra sturdy. Even if you see a bead in a set that is not
offered individually just ask and I can give you a price. I am
always looking for new ideas to so any suggestions you might have I
would really appreciate!
You can have a bead
made of your favorite pet too. If it is a standard breed I can make
them without a picture however if you need something different you
can email a picture so that I can make it look even closer. Any
special characteristics can make them look more like your pet such
as different colored eyes, a droopy ear, or sitting with one leg out
to the side. You can tell a story with additional beads such as a
favorite toy. I had a customer that had beads made of her puppy, his
chewed up one winged duck, and a squirrel because that was what he
liked to chase. I make my beads more whimsical than realistic and
try to get as close as possible but please remember that I am using
strings of glass and can only do so much.
Depending on weight and
destination shipping is normally 3.00 for standard mail and 6.00 for
priority with express available as well. Although in 13 years I have
rarely had trouble with packages getting lost in standard mail I
cannot guarantee their arrival without a tracking number. If the
beads are maimed or decapitated by the postal system I will replace
them.
Each month I try to
change the bead groups that are on sale. I have not been able to
work out the kinks so the discount will not show on the check out
page. The site DOES NOT charge your card and I do not manually
charge it until the beads are made and ready to be shipped. Because
I am the only one that makes them I will never take a chance on you
being charged if I am not able to fill your order. You will receive
an invoice with your order showing the discount prices and what your
card was actually charged.
